Problem Title:
Design Manager M1/6.0.1: How to change properties of the default Web Browser/Report Browser/ Editor

Problem Description:
Urgency: Standardd

General Description:

The Design Manager uses a default editor/viewer for the
Report Browser and Project Notes editor as well as a
default Web Browser for viewing web pages and Online
Documentation.

Can the default be changed?
Can the size of the editor be modified?

-Solution 1 refers to Design Manager ver M1.x
-Solution 2 refers to Design Manager ver 6.0.1

Solution 1:

Within Design Manager M1.x:

Select File->Preferences

In the Preferences window, select the editor of your choice
(i.e - WORDPAD.EXE, VI, Netscape, etc...depending upon your platform)

On the WS environment, you can also modify the size of the
editor my filling in the appropriate fields for width and height
within the Preferences dialog box:

xterm -geom <width>x<height> -e vi

Solution 2:

Within Design Manager 6.0.1:

The Design Manager/Flow Engine ver. 6.0.1 uses its own default
editor and viewer to open items such as reports and project notes.
There is no command in the Design Manager to select a different editor.

However, you can select a different editor by editing the
DSGNMGR.INI file. This file is located in the directory
indicated by the XACTUSER variable (if this variable is
not defined, the DSGNMGR.INI file is located in the
c:\windows directory). Close the Design Manager and edit
the DSGNMGR.INI. Add the following line under the
[Text Editor] section:

      TEXT_EDITOR_PATH=<path_to_your_editor>

For example, the following sets the Design Manager to use
Notepad as its editor:

      TEXT_EDITOR_PATH=c:\windows\notepad.exe

Note: you must close the Design Manager prior to adding
the line to the DSGNMGR.INI file. Otherwise, your
changes will not take effect and will be lost.
