Problem Title:
CPLD: XC9500/XL/XV: Which XC9500 devices are electrically compliant to PCI specification?

Problem Description:

Priority: Standard

Problem Description:

Which 9500 devices (9500/XL/XV) are electrically compliant to PCI specification?

Solution 1:

The 5v XC9500 devices are not specified to be PCI compliant,
although they may meet the PCI electrical compliance specifications
in the -5, -7, -10 speed grades - meaning that
these devices may be compliant to interface to other PCI
devices on a board. However, Xilinx does not test this
compliance and does not guarantee PCI compliance on
       the XC9500 family.

The 3.3v XC9500XL devices are not specified to be PCI compliant,
although they may meet the PCI electrical compliance specifications
in the -5, -6, -7, -10 speed grades - meaning that these devices
may be compliant to interface to other PCI devices on a board, with the
exception that there are no internal clamping diodes or transistors to
3.3v. Such clamp devices are required in the 2.1 PCI specification for
all 3.3v devices. However, such clamp devices interfere with the 5v tolerance
in the XC9500XL I/O structure, and therefore they are omitted.

The V2.1 PCI specification does not specify 2.5v signaling capability
and therefore does not apply to the 2.5v XC9500XV devices.
