JTAG Cable cannot be used for FPGA configuration with PROG pin connected.

Record #3774

Product Family: Software

Product Line: FPGA Implementation

Product Part: hwdebugr

Problem Title:
JTAG Cable cannot be used for FPGA configuration with PROG pin connected.

Problem Description:
PROG pin on Parallel cable III a.k.a. JTAG cable is held low after downloading thus forcing the devi ce back to configuration mode. If the PROG pin of JTAG cable is left unconnected, we can use JTAG ca ble for configuring the FPGA device (which is a workaround for using JTAG with FPGA's). The problem is masked by the software by giving false information to the user by giving confirmation that "The D evice is configured", upon completion of download operation.

This problem is fixed in the latest M1.4 GUI Update
