V1.5, V1.4 COREGEN: Cursor (arrow) keys produce numbers when NumLock key is active on Solaris

Record #4224

Product Family: Software

Product Line: Coregen

Product Part: Coregen

Problem Title:
V1.5, V1.4 COREGEN: Cursor (arrow) keys produce numbers when NumLock key is active on Solaris

Problem Description:
Urgency: standard

General Description:
If the NumLock key is active (specifying that the numeric
keypad keys should output numbers) the other cursor arrow
keys to the left of the numeric keypad output the same numbers
as the corresponding keys on the numeric keypad.

Solution 1:

This is a known problem on Solaris, for which there is no
workaround, other than to deactivate NumLock before trying to
use thecursor keys in the CORE Generator GUI.

In the C1.4 and C1.5 releases, there is only limited support
for navigating through the GUI using a keyboard.
