General Description:
Since the Design Manager is no longer part of the F1.5 design flow, how can I
run Multi-pass place and route and how can I use Guide files? These options
are only available from the standalone Design Manager.
Solution 1:
In order to use these features, you must run the Design Manager in a standalone
mode. To do this, select Start -> Programs -> Xilinx Foundation Series ->
Accessories -> Design Manager. Open your project in the Design Manager, and
the versions and revisions should appear just as they do in the Foundation
Project Manager. If they do not appear follow the solution described in
(Xilinx Solution 4401).
To run Multi-pass Place and Route, select Design -> FPGA Multi-pass Place &
Route with the desired Version highlighted.
To run with a Guide file, select Design -> Set Guide File.
