General Description:
In the "Alliance Series M1.5 Install and Release Document", on pg 7-21, the "Installing The CAE Libr
aries" section describes installing the CAE Libraries CD onto a PC, using the setup.exe executable,
however there is no setup.exe executable for installation.
The problem is that the M1.5 CAE Libraries CD does not include a setup.exe and does not contain any
PC files (all for WS).
This section of documentation is incorrect and is causing confusion for customers who find the instr
uctions contradictory.
Solution:
This section of instructions, should be removed from the PC section of install docs.
Solution 1:
Do not use the CAE Libraries CD for PC installs.
In M1.5, the CAE Libraries CD is only used for Workstation (Unix) 3rd party tool interface. The nece
ssary libraries for PC 3rd party tools can be installed via the PC implementation tools cd.
