M1.5 Release Document Error: CAE libraries CD cannot be installed on the PC
Problem Description:
URGENCY: standard
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
In the Alliance Series 1.5 Install and Release Document, the "Installing Alliance on PCs" section in
clude instructions on "Installing the CAE libraries."
When PC users attempt to go through this section (p.7-21), they cannot find the "setup.exe" in step
2.
Solution 1:
The CAE libraries are intended only for workstation users, not PC users. The CD contains libraries
to third party vendors that are not used on the PC (i.e. Cadance, Mentor, Synopsis). This section of
the documentation should not be in the "Installing Alliance on PCs" section.
