Problem Description: Urgency: Standard General Description: Is there any way to change the default HDL text editor which is used within the stand-alone FPGA Express tool? Solution 1: The text editor can be changed by following these steps: 1) Go to Synthesis -> Options in the menu bar 2) On the General tab, deselect the "Use FPGA Express internal source editor" box. This will allow the default editor to be whichever editor is associated with .VHD or .V files in the Windows Explorer. If you have Foundation installed, then this default editor will be the Foundation HDL Editor.
