General Description:
Listings for certain speed grades available in the design implementation phase
of F1.5i are not shown during design entry. Specifically, certain speed
grades for the XC4000XLA, XC4000XV, SpartanXL, and Virtex families have been
omitted.
This issue applies to Foundation F1.5i only, not Foundation F1.5.
Solution 1:
If you wish to target an XC4000XLA -07 or -08, an XC4000XV -08, a SpartanXL -5,
or a Virtex -6, you will need to download this file from the Xilinx FTP site:
ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/swhelp/foundation/f15i_spd2.zip
NOTE: This file is newer than f15i_spd.zip, which does not contain Virtex -6.
Close the Foundation Project Manager and unzip this ZIP file to your Foundation
directory (which is C:\FNDTN if you have accepted the default location).
F15.FAM will end up C:\FNDTN\ACTIVE\EXE
XC4000XLA.PTS, XC4000XV.PTS, SPARTANXL.PTS and VIRTEX.PTS will end up in
C:\FNDTN\SYNTH\LIB
The PTS files are only required for HDL projects. When unzipping, allow the
original read-only files to be overwritten.
