General Description:
Can the PCI64 interface support 32 bit applications?
Solution 1:
The 64-bit core will function as a 32-bit core. But, using the
core in this manner would require the use of about 40 extra
I/O pins. Xilinx has provided a workaround by supplying a
32-bit wrapper so as to release the I/Os (only for 33 MHZ
designs). However, the bulk of the core logic will still remain.
There are no plans to create a 32-bit wrapper file for 66 MHz
designs. Please contact the Xilinx Design services for a 32-bit
implementation.
