General Description:
With Express v3.0, Synopsys has added a feature that checks for duplicated
register functions. If Express sees that two registers perform exactly the same
task, it will optimize them to a single register.
Solution 1:
This functionality can be enabled or disabled via the Express Constraints
Editor, under the Modules tab. For projects created in Foundation, the default
value is to Disable this functionality. For projects created in the standalone
FPGA Express GUI, the default is to Enable this functionality. This feature
can be enabled or disabled for the entire design, or on a module by module
basis. FPGA Express will report all duplicate registers that it has optimized.
