M1.5i: Floorplanner: Not able to move carry chain counter that have been placed against edge
of die
Problem Description:
Urgency: standard
General Description: PAR has the ability to wrap the carry chain from one
column to another when the top of one column has been reached. If the
user does a "Replace All with Placement" in the Floorplanner this wrapping
will be copied from the Placement window to the Floorplan window. If the
user then moves the carry chain this will cause a misalignment.
An example DRC error is:
"The CY4s L1/carry14/carry16 CINtF are misaligned"
Solution 1:
To resolve this DRC error select the carry chain and hit the delete key.
This will unplace the carry chain from the Floorplan window. Then select
the carry chain from the Hierarchy window and place in Floorplan window.
