General Description:
When targeting XC5200 family using Synplicity 5.0.8 or earlier, the
following error may occur in NGDBUILD:
ERROR:based:58 - On or above line 890 in file "repic.edf": Bad portRef "I5" in
net "U2_inst_repic_code_slow_flashZ0". This likely means that the EDIF
netlist was improperly written. Please contact the vendor of the program
that produced this EDIF file.
Solution 1:
This happens if SYNPLIFY generates an EDIF as a netlist.
Workaround is to use XNF instead of EDIF for 5K flow.
