2.1i: FPGA Editor: FPGA Editor adds incorrect file extension when saving designs as macros.

Record #6197

Product Family: Software

Product Line: Merged Core

Product Part: FPGA Editor

Problem Title:

2.1i: FPGA Editor: FPGA Editor adds incorrect file extension when saving designs as macros.

Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard

General Description:
Saving a design as a macro. In the 'Save As' dialog, click 'Macro' and
type in a name with no extension. FPGA Editor adds the ".ncd"
extension and then complains with the following message:

"The macro filename must have an ".nmc" extension."

Solution 1:

Must explicitly specify ".nmc" or after typing the name without the
extension and select 'Macro' again, and this will add the .nmc to
the file name.

This will be fixed in a future release.
