2.1i Floorplanner: Map file naming is causing problems for the Design Manager
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
In cases where Design Manager calls the Floorplanner for a
design that has been mapped but not Placed & Routed
problems occur. Design Manager passes "map.ncd" and
<design_name>.ngd to the Floorplanner. If a user then
floorplans and saves the files they are saved as "map.fnf"
and "map.mfp". The Design Manager expects the files to
be named <design_name>.fnf and <design_name>.mfp.
Solution 1:
In the Floorplanner, do a File -> Save As, and save the design
as design_name.
This issue has been resolved in a Service Pack for 2.1i:
