INSTALL 2.1i: Virtex E / Spartan 2(II) : Why are these families greyed out during
installation / How can I enable software support for them ?

General Description:
Several references to the Virtex-E and Spartan II family are made
in the 2.1i release (For ex. - in the Documenation and Install). How
do I enable support for these new architectures ?
NOTE: Within the software, Spartan "2" is used to denote
this family, while the name given to the IC is Spartan "II". The same
family is being referred to in both instances.
Solution 1:
Both the Virtex-E and Spartan II device families require a special CD-Key
to be entered during Installation in order to enable their use in the 2.1i
software.
Please contact your Xilinx FAE if you are interested in targeting either of
these devices.
