Record #6710
Product Family: Software
Product Line: M1 Implementation
Product Part: Constraints Editor
Product Version: 2.1i
Problem Title:
2.1i: Constraints Editor; Constraints w/out quotes are interpreted as source constraints.
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
When invoking the Constraints Editor on a UCF/NGD file that
has several location constraints defined without quotations (" ")
around the netnames and pinnames The Constraints Editor
interprets the first location constraint as a non-editable source
constraint.
Solution 1:
Edit the UCF to include quotation marks similar to the following:
NET "netname" LOC = "P34";
Run the design through the translate process again so as to
be sure your constraints will be implemented.
