2.1i Install: Win NT Environment problems, $XILINX and $PATH variables.
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
The %XILINX% set in the system variable list is not getting expanded when
the path is defined.
Solution 1:
If you set $XILINX in the users variable list, then the path
picks up the right values.
procedure:
-on your desktop, right click on My Computer and select properties.
-go to the environment tab
-type in XILINX in the variable space
-type in the path to the xilinx folder in the value space
-click set
-click apply
-click OK
a re-boot may or may not be needed.
