Foundation Schematic - Macro created with incorrect pins from VHDL code
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
When modifiying a VHDL macro internally so the macro pins
are not effected. After re-synthesising when you update the
macro for your schematic the symbol produced does not
have all the pins.
Solution 1:
This is due to the VHDL file having a filename of longer than
8 characters and the files being stored overa Novell network.
This was not recreatable on a TCP/IP network.
Resolution 1
Reduce file name to 8 characters or less.
OR
Resolution 2
Move project to local drive.
