Urgency: Standard
General Description: Simulating Virtex Block Ram can produce the
following error in the simulator:
Memory write address exceeds defined memory bounds.
However, the address is valid for the given component.
Solution 1:
The following steps will resolve the error:
1- Open the simulator.
2- Select Options -> Preferences.
3- On the Simulation tab change the Memory Range to
Lower Mem Address: 0
Upper Mem Address: 65536 or the appropriate value for
you memory address.
