Ngdbuild isses the following error when KEEPER attribute is entered in the ucf file:
NET net_name KEEPER;
INTERNAL_ERROR:NgdHelpers:bascpmgr.c:909:1.1.2.3 - Constraint type for NET is
unknown. NET entry is 'NET "IPAD_ADDRA<0>" KEEPER; '.
Solution 1:
This problem will be fixed in the future release of the software.
So far the workarounds are:
1. Add KEEPER in the schematics, or instantiate KEEPER in the HDL codes.
2. Add KEEPER on the IOs in the fpga_editor after the design has been placed and routed.
