Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
In a CPLD project, trying to run a custom report from the timing
analyzer after specifying the Sources and Destinations causes
a page fault or other messages about a system failure.
Error messages that have been seen: (The errors listed were
seen on win95/98)
1) Page fault:
TIMINGAN caused a stack fault in module at 0157:0041b5b3
TIMINGAN caused an invalid page fault in module MFC42.DLL
at 0157:5f40129c
2) Problem running the taengine program for analyzing CPLDs.
Process exit code 2.
For details, select Show Command Status in the Console window.
Analysis cancelled at your request.
If these instructions are followed, and the comand status is viewed, the
result depends on the system used. On PC with Windows, nothing new
is printed in the Command Status. On a workstation, the following is
displayed:
"ERROR:hi416 - Cannot add a non-register instance delaysGreater
Than: to the register list, ignored."
Solution 1:
There is no workaround, except to analyze all or nothing.
