2.1i Virtex Map - The Virtex packer is failing to process the local output directive
properly.
Problem Description:
The packer fails to process the FAST property on physical frag pins in the NGM properly.
These properties are created when LUT4_l symbols are used.
This impacts both Cores and synthesis generated designs. The "LO" output of a LUT4 is
a directive to the packer to internalize the route. Without the directive, the packer will
fall into normal delay based packing. This could be a problem if the critical path is not
the same as the longest path.
Solution 1:
This problem is fixed in the latest 2.1i Service Pack available at:
