General Description:
When running a design through map the following error is flagged:
ERROR:OldMap:56 - The LOC constraint "W2" (a MODE1 location) is not valid for
OPAD symbol "$I7" (pad signal=$Net00007_), which is being mapped to the
following site types:
CLKIOB
FCLKIOB
IOB
Errors found in users design. Output files not written.
Solution 1:
This will happen if a pad is being locked to a dedicated site such as one
of the mode pins for NON Spartan and Virtex designs. If the use of the
mode pins is required after configuration then special library primitives must
be instantiated in the user design. These primitives are
MD1 (output only)
MD0, MD2 (inputs only)
