2.1i Virtex PAR - PC only crash occurs after "Starting the placer".
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
A case has been seen where the Virtex placer crashed on a very
tightly constrained design. The error was found to be due to the fact
that most of the comps in the design were constrained to a specific site.
Placement moves were resulting in zero changes to the placement score
which led to a "divide by zero" error.
Solution 1:
This problem is fixed in the latest 2.1i Service Pack available at:
