Why does the icon/button disappear when trying to select?
Solution 1:
The problem was caused by a failure of color
map swapping which is controlled by another
Bristol process called windu_client. At startup
time of any Bristol application, the program
will spawn a windu_client process if it does
not already exist. This process allows Bristol
applications to do color map swapping among
X-window programs. In this case, while the
color swapping process existed, it didn't
respond to FPGA Editor for unknown
reasons.
To workaround, you need to kill the process
and restart your application.
