General Description: Why does the fitter continue when the number
of required PLA Product Terms is greater than those available for the
selected device?
Solution 1:
The PLA Product Terms can be shared among macrocells in the same
logic block. The fitter does not know how much sharing can be
accomplished until the fitter places and routes the design. Sharing
Product Terms can dramatically reduce the overall number of required
PLA Product Terms thereby increasing logic resource efficiency.
