General Description: When will CoolRunner devices be part of WebPACK?
Solution 1:
CoolRunner devices will be supported by WebFitter in September 1999.
All software for CoolRunner devices, XPLA Professional and XPLA
PC-ISP, are currently part of the WebPACK download found at
http://www.coolpld.com/products/software/webpowered.htm .
Application notes will be available soon detailing how to target
CoolRunner CPLDs using Xilinx WebPACK for VHDL, Verilog, and
ABEL designs.
We are working on a plan for integration of CoolRunner compilers
and fitters into the Xilinx Project Navigator to provide a common
front-end tool for both CoolRunner and XC9500 CPLDs.
Full integration of CoolRunner CPLDs into all Xilinx software products
is targeted for the year 2000.
