General Description: Will XPLA Professional be supported and
maintained until CoolRunner devices are supported in Xilinx software
products and how do I obtain these upgrades?
Solution 1:
XPLA Professional will be supported and maintained until the CoolRunner
devices are supported in Xilinx software products.
We strongly encourage our customers to transition to WebPACK
as the front-end design tool for CoolRunner designs. Application
notes will be available soon detailing how to target CoolRunner
CPLDs using Xilinx WebPACK for VHDL, Verilog, and ABEL
designs. Future releases of XPLA Professional will be available
as a new WebPACK release from the Xilinx website at
http://www.xilinx.com/products/software/webpowered.htm.
