Solution 1: PC-ISP Programmer software will not function properly if the directory where the software is installed or the directory where your design resides does not conform to the old 8.3 standard. Long path names are NOT supported. An unacceptable example would be c:\Program Files or c:\Program_Files. It is recommended that a path name with fewer than 8 characters per directory name be implemented as in c:\xplaisp. Please note that it is possible to corrupt the installation of the software if Windows applications are running at the time of installation.
