General Description: Can a macrocell in the XPLA1 family be configured
as a transparent latch?
Solution 1:
The macrocell can only be configured as a 'D' , 'T', or combinatorial
macrocell. There is no hardware support for transparent latches. If a
latch is required, it can be constructed from combinatorial logic. See the
'Understanding Clocking Options' applications note (Xilinx XAPP305) or
at (Xilinx Solution 7523).
