Foundation 2.1i simulation: Error- Bus Conflicts during Foundations simulation, while
simulating multiplexer with tri-stated buffers
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description: When doing a functional simulation in
Foundation with a design containing multiplexor with using
tri-stated buffers or logiblox generated multiplexor, a window
pops up during simulation titled 'Bus Conflicts'.
Solution 1:
This is currently a known issue with the Foundation logic
simulator and the warning message that is generated can be
safely ignored.
When a Logiblox MUX is generated with more than four inputs,
the default is to implement the MUX using tri-state buffers.
The simulator has problems interpreting the buffers and
generates the Bus Conflicts error.
The currently work-around is
Ignore the warnings that pop up. Click on Cancel.
