Record #7706

Problem Title:
Bitgen M1/M2: Why is there no -t (tie down unused interconnect) or -n (write out tied ncd) for Virtex?

Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard

General Description: There is no option in bitgen for Virtex to tie down unused interconnect, or sa ve that state to an ncd file.
Why is this?

Solution 1:

The Virtex devices have an architecture that makes it easy to tie down, so every design is always ti ed. Routing special tie signals or
writing out other .ncd files is unnecessary.
