Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description: When using pin loc'ing constraints on global clocks,
MAP report reveals:
ERROR:OldMap:256 - Clock buffer BUFG symbol "..." cannot be converted to a BUFGLS due to location co
nstraints.
Solution 1:
Instead of a pin loc constraint, loc the clock buffer
i.e. INST "bufg_instance" LOC = "BUFGLS_SSW";
Clock buffers LOCs are based on compass directions (SSW, NNW, NNE....)
Solution 2:
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in the next (as yet unnamed)
release following version 2.1i. This release is currently scheduled
for May, 2000.
