2.1i JTAG Programmer - Error: JTAG - Unable to locate BSDL file 'c.bsd'
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description: When attempting to program a JTAG Chain,
the JTAG Programmer crashes with an error message similar to the
following: (the c.bsd might be replaced with another file name that
is not part of the chain)
ERROR:JTag - Unable to locate BSDL file 'c.bsd'.
Check that your XILINX variable is properly set and that the BSDL file
is located along its path.
ERROR:JTag - Correct the above errors and issue the part command again.
This can also cause a system crash:
JTAGPGMR caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 016f:bff99dbd.
JTAGPGMR caused an invalid page fault in
module MFC42.DLL at 016f:5f40129c.
Solution 1:
This problem is fixed in the latest 2.1i Service Pack available at:
http://support.xilinx.com/support/techsup/sw_updates/
