Record #8271

Product Family: Software

Product Line: Coregen

Product Part: Coregen

Product Version: 2.1

Problem Title:

2.1i COREGEN: Update Cores-> Custom appears to have all cores selected by default

Problem Description:
Urgency: standard

General Description:
All of the CORE Generator cores appear to be already selected (checked off) by default when you try to do a Custom update to update the version of just one core for the current project.

Solution 1:

In actuality, the checked off boxes indicate which versions of cores are currently available to a project (in other words, which cores are "Active" for that project). The "Custom Update" feature allows you to REMOVE a certain core from the user-
visible GUI listing in the CORE Generator. If there are multiple versions of
a core in the installation, it also allows you to deselect the version of a core that is currently being used in a project and select a newer one.
