Problem Title:
INTERNAL_ERROR:NgdBuild:basnbsrch.c:327:1.1.2.6 "entity or component" is missing the TYPE
property.
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
While using Orcad as the front end tool and Alliance as the back end,
the above error may occur during translate phase if any of the component is
associated with TYPE property.
This property is no longer needed for use with the Xilinx Alliance series
(M.X series).property.
Solution 1:
To delete the property from all of the parts do the
following:
1.In the Orcad project manager select the design file.
2.From the Edit menu, choose Browse Parts.
3.In the browse parts window, select the first part, then hold the shift
key and select the last part, to select allparts in the design.
4.From the popup menu, choose Edit Properties.
The spreadsheet editor opens.
5. Select the TYPE column and press the REMOVE button.
6. Save the design.
The error will no longer occur when you translate the
design.
