General Description:
Cases have been seen where there was a degradation in 2.1i routing
performance compared to 1.5i on larger Spartan-XL devices (XCS30XL
and XCS40XL). The problem was introduced by a new routing feature
that was thought to improve results for all Spartan-XL devices, but has
now been shown to improve routing only for smaller devices.
Solution 1:
In 2.1i Service Pack 6, this new feature will be disabled for the larger
Spartan-XL devices (XCS30XL and XCS40XL) which will restore the
routing performance to 1.5i levels.
