General Description:
I am running ModelSim XE on an NT4 machine with the latest patches.
When I try and startup 'vsim' I get a window that pops up with the title
"Error in Startup Script" containing some of the following:
syntax error in expression "$col>0.0"
("if" test expression)
while compiling

.
Solution 1:
This is an NT internationalization settings problem with MXE.
The workaround for this is to change the internationalization
setting in windows from "," (comma), to a "." (period) in order
to get MXE to run properly. You may have to reboot for these
setting to take affect.
