Subject: Process Change Notification (PCN95005)
"An Evolutionary Change in the Xilinx XC7000 Fabrication Process"
Products Affected: XC7236A, XC727A, XC7354, and XC73108
(All packages and speed grades)
Change Description: Fabrication process migration from
the 1.0µm UVCMOS EPROM process at tsmc to the 0.85µm
process at this same facility.
Product Change: The products mentioned above will be moved
to the 0.85µm UVCMOS EPROM process at tsmc. The 0.85µm
devices are 100% pin and function compliant with the 1.0µm devices.
Product manufactured with the 0.85µm process can be identified by
the marking "xxK" which is appended to the date code (1.0µm product
bears the identifier "xxH")
Reason For Change: The foundry is migrating production
from the 1.0µm process to the 0.85µm process to enhance product
availability. This also permits the introduction (by Xilinx) of higher
speed grades (notably the XC7354-7, the XC73108-10, and the XC73108-7).
Key Dates: Qualification of this product in the evolutionary
process has been completed and is attached. Production has started in the
0.85µm process. Product availability is immediate.
Note: Please see PDN97008A for the
latest status.
