Subject: Product Discontinuation Notification (PDN2001-03) - Withdrawal of certain commercial low volume device/speed combinations (see table below). All packages and all temperature grades of these product offerings are affected. Note however, that no Xilinx Military product offerings are affected.

Change Description: Xilinx is discontinuing the above device/speed combinations and providing our customers with one year notification to plan for the obsolescence and/or replacement of these product combinations.

Reason For Change: The above device/speed combinations have declined in customer usage to the point where continued manufacturing is becoming no longer economical. In order to continue the Xilinx evolutionary process of cost reductions, it is necessary to discontinue these product combinations.

Key Dates:
Final orders accepted until 15 January 2002
Final deliveries on or before 15 April 2002
