To view the PDF files on this CDROM, you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed, available for free from www.adobe.com.   Files on this CDROM are organized as follows: 

  • Virtex-II Pro™ Platform FPGA Handbook (v2.0)

    • This document describes the function and operation of Virtex-II Pro devices and also includes information on FPGA configuration techniques and PCB design considerations.
     
  • RocketIO™ Transceiver User Guide (v1.4)

    • This document describes how the RocketIO transceiver’s flexible, programmable features allow a multi-gigabit serial transceiver to be easily integrated into any Virtex-II Pro design.
     
  • Virtex-II Pro Package Files

    • These files contain pinout information for all Virtex-II Pro device/package combinations.
     
  • Embedded Development Kit (v3.1 Early Access)

    • The Xilinx Embedded Development Kit (EDK) supports embedded hardware and software designs for both the IBM PowerPC™ hard processor core and the Xilinx MicroBlaze™ soft processor core. These development tools, combined with the advanced features of Xilinx FPGAs, especially the Virtex-II Pro Platform for Programmable Systems, provide a new level of system design capability, enabling design optimization at any time during the design cycle to meet fast-changing product requirements.
