Please follow these steps to enable Spartan-II device support for
your Alliance or Foundation Series 2.1i product.
In order to install Spartan-II device support, you will need to convert your current 2.1i CD-Key to one which will enable Spartan-II as an installation option. Your current CD-Key can be found on the back of the CD case you received with your 2.1i software.
Customers with the Base Package: During the re-installation process with your new cd-key, you will notice expanded access to other devices beyond the Spartan-II family that were not available before. These devices are available to you for a limited time. With our next software release, you will have the choice of upgrading to either Alliance Standard or Foundation Express to retain this functionality of receiving your base configuration with all of the Spartan-II devices excluding the additional devices.
