SmartSearch Topics improves your results by searching for all related keywords to a topic, and then ranking the results by which documents had the most topic keywords.

For example, instead of typing in FPGA, you could select a SmartSearch topic checkbox for fpga. That will find all documents containing FPGA, PGA, PLD, Field Programmable gate Array, etc.

Using SmartSearch Topics will match more documents, but your results will be better because more pertinent documents will float to the top of your list.

SmartSearch Topics can be used alone or in conjunction with entered query text and SmartSearch Sources.
