XILINX PLANS WORLDWIDE SERIES OF TECHNICAL SEMINARS
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 12, 1997 -- Xilinx, Inc., (NASDAQ:XLNX) this month will kick off a worldwide series of technical conferences that focus on the rapid changes overtaking the programmable logic industry and promising new developments digital engineers can expect to see between now and the turn of the century.
The Xilinx 1997 Technical Conference and Seminar series, titled "The Power of Innovation," will be held in 60 cities throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, and India. More than 5,000 engineers worldwide are expected to attend the sessions.
The seminars will cover recent advances in programmable logic devices, new design tools and software cores. In addition, a series of case studies will examine in detail how today’s programmable logic solutions can solve real world design challenges. Attendees also will learn about imminent industry breakthroughs and how they will impact new product design. In addition, Xilinx will preview its next generation of high performance, high-density field programmable gate array devices.
