Synchronous Peripheral Asynchronous Peripheral Express (XLA & XV ONLY)

If configuring through the BSCAN/JTAG ports see the Boundary Scan/JTAG Expert Journal. Note that "Express" Mode is only supported for the XC4000XLA and XV families. The XL and XLT do not support Express Mode.
