Rapid Prototypes, Inc. provides the fastest and highest performance Xilinx designs available in the industry. With extensive experience in real-time digital signal processing, video, audio and telecommunications, Rapid Prototypes focuses on maximum performance using advanced pipelining techniques, careful floorplanning, and full timing specification. This close attention to detail results in hand-crafted cores that maximize performance yet are easy to use. Our deep understanding of the Xilinx architectures permit us to maximize performance for our customers while keeping the interfaces simple. Many multimedia applications require high throughput to achieve maximum performance, and this is the area where the performance advantage of Xilinx devices excel the most. Rapid Prototypes, Inc. has developed cores for Xilinx devices that exceed 250 MHz in verified, fully time-specified designs using commercially available devices from Xilinx. We have recently completed an SDRAM Core with performance to 200 MHz and memory throughput rates of 800 megabytes per second per chip. These cores can be customized to meet special user requirements. Rapid Prototypes, Inc. can provide customers with netlists and can assist them with completing designs, customizing cores, system integration and testing.
