Problem Description:
The CADENCE ES-Verilog interface is available on the 5.2/6.0. This package includes the
Verilog libraries and translation tools needed to do functional and timing simulation.
Solution 1:
The updated ES-Verilog interface to Cadence Verilog-XL can be found on the CD in the XBBS/VLOG_INTFC
directory. Installation and setup instructions can be found
in the XACTstep Core Tools Release Document, Ch. 4.
This is an update to the original ES-Verilog interface. The original interface was
available only through customer service before December 1995.
Note that post-synthesis functional simulation of Synopsys and other HDL-synthesized
designs is currently not supported.
