You may see an error like this if the ports in the ENTITY
declaration created by HDL Direct for a body drawing do not
match the ports on the SYMBOL BODY for the same design block.
This error is seen in the 97A Cadence release.
Solution 1:
Bring up the symbol body in question in Concept and rewrite
(re-save) it. Doing this will ensure that the entity
corresponding to the symbol body will be regenerated based on
the current version of the symbol drawing:
edit foo.body
