V2.1i COREGEN, SOLARIS: Cannot bring up module customization GUI on Solaris 2.6/2.7 Openwin platform when window activation setting is set to "ClickMouse" to activateRecord #6148
Product Family: Software V2.1i COREGEN, SOLARIS: Cannot bring up module customization GUI on Solaris 2.6/2.7 Openwin platform when window activation setting is set to "ClickMouse" to activate Problem Description: Urgency: standard General Description: CORE Generator does not respond to double mouse clicks used to bring up module customization GUIs (CORE Generator module parameterization windows) on Solaris 2.6 and 2.7 Openwin platforms. Solution 1: This problem is observed when the Openwindows window activation setting is set to "ClickMouse" instead of "Move Pointer" . To correct the problem, you can either edit the ".OWdefaults" file directly, or change the window activation setting through the Openwindows GUI. To change the .OWdefaults file directly, open the file in your home directory in an editor and change the OpenWindow:SetInput" setting to "followmouse": OpenWindows.SetInput:followmouse To change it using the OpenWindows GUI, click your third mouse button on a blank section of the OpenWindows screen, and select Utilities -> Properties from the pop-up menu. (Note: there may be slight variations from one person's configuration to another, depending on how their configuration has been customized.) This should call up a "Workspace Properties" window. Click the third mouse button again on the "Category" button and select "Miscellaneous", then activate "Move Pointer" instead of "Click Mouse" for the "Set Active Window" setting.
